The second group of students from Deree - The American College of Greece consists of Iliana Mylona, majoring in Economics and Christos Oikonomopoulos, who minors in International Business. Both students are doing their internship regarding tourist pressures in the areas of #Voidokoilia and #DivariBeach.
More specifically, they monitor vehicles, categorizing them according to type and size on Voidokoilia beach and Divari bay, as they are parts of Natura 2000 areas. Their project is of great importance as parking vehicles on such a fragile ecosystem is dangerous for the flora and fauna of the sand dunes and beach.
