Every summer NEO welcomes students who are interested in doing their internship in environmental science. This year, following all the health and safety protocols, we had the opportunity to organize multiple projects on different topics.
Ikaros Xenos, comes from Stockholm University and he is a master student in Hydrology, Hydrogeology and Water Resources at the Institutionen för naturgeografi.
His main interest is in water resources management of coastal ecosystems and he participates in our fieldwork campaign round the #gialovalagoon. He is maintaining our Water Quality Monitoring Network while he is collecting qualitative and quantitative data for further analysis.
