Look what we found!

Illegal hunting is still a threat to wildlife & biodiversity!

Today, during fieldwork, we found a wounded Common buzzard (#Buteo_buteo) next to #Gialova wetland.

The buzzard was at a critical condition, after been shot by illegal hunters, and it was transferred to the Κέντρο Προστασίας & Περίθαλψης Άγριας Ζωής.

According to the vet, the chances of survival are unfortunately low, but we keep our fingers crossed, and we hope to release it back to nature as soon as possible!
